Will my insurance cover Bloodwork?

Most insurances will provide some financial coverage for diagnostic bloodwork if your PCP can submit proof of medical necessity. If it is your first visit in our facility, bringing any medical records documenting prior conditions such as Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Iron Deficiency, Anemia, or Thyroid Issues can help our providers prove medical necessity. A list of medications (full name, dosage, and frequency) that you are currently taking or have taken in the past can also help prove medical necessity.

Quick tip: Insurance plans with coinsurance rather than copay (typically Ambetter, Superior Healthplan, or Allwell) will cover a percentage (usually 70-85%) of any procedures, with the patient being responsible for the remainder.
